UV pdfTool, at uvpdftool.com, is a free set of PDF tools that run in your browser. It is made and run by UV ResearchLabs.

What it is
38 tools for the everyday work with PDFs and pictures: merge, split, organize, rotate, compress, convert to and from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG and Markdown, edit, fill and sign, protect, unlock, redact, compare, recognise text in scans, and requests for signatures by email. Every page exists in nine languages: English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Spanish, Portuguese and Indonesian.
How it treats your files
Almost every tool runs entirely inside your browser: the file is read and written on your own device and never uploaded. The few tools that need a server say so on their page, send the file over an encrypted connection, process it in an isolated container and delete it automatically. The browser tools have no watermark, no sign-up and no limit on their use. The privacy policy has the details.
