MyWelfare: make your photo, signature and documents fit
Department of Social Protection rejects uploads that break its rules. Drop your files here: each is cropped, resized and compressed to the rules below, checked, and named. Nothing is uploaded; it runs on your device.

What MyWelfare asks for

A social welfare form with a barcode goes by post, not through the upload; a file too large to upload can be posted too.
Where these rules come from
Read on October 27, 2026 from How to upload documents on MyWelfare (How to upload documents on MyWelfare) (published October 17, 2023)
Portals change their rules without notice. If MyWelfare asks for something else now, tell us and the page is corrected within a day. Report a change
Frequently asked questions
- Why did MyWelfare reject my photo?
- Almost always the file: a format other than JPG, a size outside the window, or the wrong pixel dimensions. The table above lists what Department of Social Protection states; the tool makes your file meet every line it can check and tells you which it cannot.
- Does my file leave my phone?
- No. The rules come with the page, and the cropping, resizing, compressing and checking run in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to us.
- The portal asks for a minimum size and my file is smaller. What happens?
- The picture is encoded sharper first. If it is still under the minimum, a comment that every reader skips is added inside the file so that it reaches the minimum; the picture itself does not change.
- Can you fix a blurred photo or a dark background?
- No. Software can crop, resize and compress; what the picture shows is for the camera. The card under each file names what MyWelfare asks of the picture itself.
